Friends of the Smokies & Robert A. Tino
Robert A. Tino is a renowned East Tennessee artist who captures the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains through his paintings. Robert A. Tino graciously volunteers his talents to create a limited edition wine label for Sugarland Cellars to celebrate the beautiful seasons in our area. Then, our Master Winemaker carefully crafts a wine to pair perfectly with the spring flowers, summer rains, fall foliage, and winter scenes.
Friends of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, also known as Friends of the Smokies, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and protect the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. They focus mainly on raising funds, increasing public awareness, and providing volunteers for the national park. Since 1993, Friends of the Smokies have helped with the black bear conservation, historic preservation and environmental education in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
For every bottle of Tino’s Limited Edition Wine sold, Sugarland Cellars donates $5 to Friends of the Smokies. With only 1,000 bottles of each Limited Edition Wine available, these bottles are highly sought after and collected by wine and art enthusiasts alike.
As of Autumn 2015, Sugarland has donated $75,000 to Friends of the Smokies through wine sales. If you would like to learn more about Sugarland Cellars partnership with Friends of the Smokies, join our mailing list, check out our blog, or see us on Facebook!
